Spring has arrived!

Spring has arrived in Vermont! While the mountains are usually 2 weeks behind, the valleys are now showing lots of leaves on the trees and the daffodils are almost done blooming.

Trout fishing is in full swing, and the ice is gone from the mountain lakes so you should be able to drop your line at all your favorite spots. Lots of fishermen (and women) were seen this past week up at Red Mill Pond in Woodford, as well as along the Walloomsac River in Bennington and of course the Battenkill River in Manchester.

There are LOTS of events happening this summer, and we'll keep you posted as time goes on. In particular, don't miss Bennington Moosefest May through October 2009. For a complete listing of area events, check out our EVENTS page.
