Both sculptures were created almost exclusively from previously worn horseshoes collected from neighboring farriers and friends of equines. Each shoe was positioned and welded into place, flowing only to the nature and form of the shoe. Special shoes were selected for their own unique shape and size to appear in certain areas as deemed appealing to eye and the creature. Created entirely from imagination, and the ground up, starting at their feet and emerging as they would. Honoring time and space in their grace and movement, and only limited to the ground they stand on in their timeless grace and silent stature.

"Old Iron"
Contains numerous antique shoes from famous and beloved horses, and is graced by a tail and mane from untwisted iron cable. Standing over 5' at the shoulder, and 7' to the top of his impressive 2'6" long head, he has a length of over 7' from nose to rump, "Old Iron" walks off in a time and place of old and new.

"Raven's Rust"
Was built around an old printing press wheel, and contains several hundred horseshoes and other unique iron pieces from railroads and farms. With a wing span of 12', standing 6' at the crest of his head, and spanning an impressive 10' from beak to tail end, "Raven's Rust" landed, and remains in his space only to stand silently waiting.
